Christmas day was a whirl wind. We had my mom, sister, brother, sister in-law, gran, granddad, aunt, and uncle over for breakfast and presents. Then Mom, Rebecca, Jamin, and Tabitha stayed for a roast beef dinner.
We're ready for stockings!
Checking out the stuff under his stocking. The Fire Truck was a gift from Papa, that he got the night before, but the Chuck Play-Doh kit is from Santa.
Waiting for Daddy to finish up in the kitchen so we can open our socks.
Santa gave Liam a travel Magna Doodle. This will be perfect for the car.
My dad is a firefighter, and had to work on Christmas day. Since he couldn't be with us, Papa gave Liam his Christmas present a day early. Liam loved playing with his remote controlled fire truck Christmas morning, and I took a little video so Papa could see Liam enjoying it.
The Pile!
Opening his first gifts.
Closely studying his Lego box. Probably thinking, "Does this thing really fire missiles?" Yes, yes it does :) Liam loved the gun so much, that he hid it inside his toy school bus. We looked for it for about an hour. My brother even went through the recycling bin afraid it got thrown out with the wrapping paper.
Mom and Dad got Liam a big Magna Doodle. I'm a fan of mess free drawing :)
This package of play food took FOREVER to open. The plastic was glued at several points around the food. I worked on it for awhile, then Brent took over. It was worth it though. Liam loved playing with them.
Grandma Patty painted this Lightning McQueen piggy bank for Liam. She even taped a coin to the bottom so that Liam could make his first deposit right away. Now he has a $1 saved for a rainy day :)
Liam was blessed with so many gifts. By the time we got to the last couple presents, Liam was too tired of unwrapping. I had to finish opening for him.
We've had an amazing Christmas weekend with family, and it's still going. Brent took an extra day off so he could enjoy a 4 day weekend. Today we've done some cleaning, but the rest of the day promises to be pretty relaxing.
I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas, and enjoyed many moments with friends and family.
