ZooLights

I hadn't been to the Oregon ZooLights since I was in high school, and Brent and Liam have never been, so it was a special treat to head out there last night.  In years past we haven't gone because it's $9 a person, and there just never seems to be time with all the holiday activities.  However, this past Mother's Day, Brent bought our family a zoo membership.  Therefore, the three of us could go without having to shell out money for tickets.  In fact, we'll likely head out there again before the new year, and check out the lights with more of the family.  Maybe we'll even buy tickets for the zoo train.  Liam's obsessed with cars and "choo-choos" these days :)

If you're family is thinking about heading to ZooLights, I suggest getting there early.  The gates open at 5pm, and the parking lot fills quickly.  We got there right at 5, and had to park far out in the lot.  By the time we left an hour later, the only parking available was the shuttle lot.
