Ducks on Ice

Liam and I ventured out in the cold this morning.  We made our usual trip to the duck pond, and was surprised to find half of the pond frozen over.  By now most ducks have flown south for the winter, but these ducks get a lot of bread from walkers and tend to stick it out.

The ducks still went for the bread I threw, but slipped and slid all over :)

I wish I got video of them landing on the ice.  That was the best part.  They'd glide in, hit the ice, then slide until they hit the water :)
