The Beach

I haven't posted for the last couple days because we were at the beach.  For the past 15 years, my grandparents have owned a beach house in Lincoln City, OR.  They're currently in the process of selling it, so it was important to get Liam out there before the house is gone.  On Saturday we headed out for Liam's first beach trip.

We arrived Saturday night, and put Liam asleep.  Come Sunday morning, Liam was awake and ready to explore the house.

As always, we did some shopping at the outlet stores.  Liam stayed behind with Grandpa Howell, while my mom, sister, Brent, and I headed out to shop.  That evening my parents graciously baby sat while Brent and I had a lovely dinner at McMenamins.  Yum!

Monday afternoon we headed to the beach, and Liam didn't know quite what to think of the sand.

He was very quiet, and took it all in.

Thankfully Daddy was there to provide reassurance.

Even when the waves came in...

The whole family had a great time at the beach.
