A Walk and a Challenge

Liam and I take walks on weekday mornings, but today we woke up to rain.  This was a challenge because although his stroller has a canopy, it doesn't cover all of him.  His legs would be exposed.  So we changed it up a little.  I packed him up in the baby bjorn (we have a knock off), grabbed an umbrella and headed out.  Low and behold the rain stopped before we left, and it stayed dry our entire walk.

The swings were a little damp, but we were still able to do some swinging.

Brent has challenged me to make at least one new dish every week.  I've made several throughout the summer, and have enjoyed most of them.  It's been quite a challenge for me because cooking isn't something I really enjoy doing, and I'm not necessarily good at it.  However, now that I'm a stay at home mom, it makes more sense for me to do the cooking instead of Brent.  Until this summer, he's been doing most of it.

I haven't decided what I'm cooking this week yet, but I'll keep this blog updated with my creations.
