In other parts of the world, country, and even state, this is hardly exciting, but to Portlanders it's a big deal. We get little snow here, so even the scantest amount causes a flurry (pun intended) of comments on social media.
Today we awoke to a small dusting of snow. Liam had never experienced it before, so we let him play in it some before getting ready for church.

| Liam got his fire fighter boots for his birthday last year. Thankfully, they were too big when he got them, because he absolutely refused to put them on all of 2011. Only recently has he become obsessed with wearing them. Now I just need to get a picture of him in his boots, and Papa in his real fire fighter boots :) |
Hopefully, we'll get some more snow to play in soon. We were given some snow pants for him that I'd love to utilize.
