Cut Hairs, and Cut Ear

This is my first time trying the Blogger app on my phone, so we'll see how it goes:

We started this week off with naps for all on Sunday, and then we took Liam to Great Clips for his first professional hair cut. I usually cut his hair, but I have to use scissors because Liam is scared of our noisy clippers. It's very time consuming. Thankfully, the clippers at Great Clips were much quieter. After 20 minutes of negotiating and the promise of ice cream, we finally got all Liam's hairs cut.

He was happy with the cut, liked the balloon he got, and LOVED having frozen yogurt for dinner :)

Things have been pretty normal this week other then the trip to urgent care on Tuesday. Liam was running around and playing as usual when he fell into a piece of furniture and hurt his ear pretty good. I was so thankful Brent had just gotten home, because it took both of us to calm him down and stop the bleeding.

The gash seemed to be about an inch long, and we were afraid he needed stitches. Therefore, we loaded him up in the car and headed to ZoomCare. Liam didn't like the doctor touching his ear, but he was very brave while she did her examination. In the end, no stitches were needed, and he only needed a bandage to protect the wound while it heals.

Liam is actually quite proud of his "Band-Aid" and likes to show it off. We even put a Lightning McQueen Band-Aid on it to make it that much cooler. Even "Monkey" got a McQueen Band-Aid on his ear too.

The incident hasn't slown Liam down. He still runs and jumps around with full energy like before. Liam's a busy boy :)
