A Cozy Fit

Our weekends tend to get very busy, but this Saturday we were able to keep things very low key and do some projects around the house.  We went through our huge box of books, and were able to separate them into two groups: Those we want to keep, and those that I'll attempt to sell to Powell Books.  This made it possible to put all the books we want to keep on our two small book shelves, and allows the possibility to make some cash with what we're ready to pass on.

The next step was the garage.  We've done a couple 'big cleans' in our garage, but have never been able to fit both cars in our over sized, two car garage.  However, with the morning frosts, we find it important to fit both vehicles in.  For the past 2.5 years, Brent's car has been outside, and takes quite a bit of time to defrost in the early morning.  Since Brent's commute is 3-4 hours, round trip, it's important to not add any more time to the commute routine.

The garage can stand to have some more organization and shelves, but we managed to get everything to the sides.  Now both vehicles have a cozy fit.

This past weekend Liam also learned the joys of a laundry basket flipped upside down.  It was my fault.  I flipped it over so he could climb on the bed, but all he wanted to do was use it like a trampoline.  Thankfully, he only received minor injuries from falling off his new found toy.
